Before implementing RoomPriceGenie, the Chamberlin Inn manually adjusted its rates. Although other properties in the group used revenue management consultants, they felt they could manage rates successfully because the Chamberlin Inn is a smaller property in a smaller, seasonal area. “The challenge with managing a seasonal small property is that you face a rapid change in circumstances with which you must respond quickly. It was often not a top priority because it is so seasonal.
