What is your role at RoomPriceGenie?

I have been a part of the RoomPriceGenie family since February 2022. As a Revenue & Customer Success Manager, I work alongside our clients to make sure they are getting the utmost and the best possible experience while maximizing their revenue.

What is your background?

I have worked in 5* hotels across Munich, London and Hamburg for the entirety of my career until recently. After working in different departments, I knew that my future would be in Revenue. My passion for hospitality and revenue management has led me to different Revenue roles in leading hotels over the last years and currently at RoomPriceGenie.

What do you think makes the RoomPriceGenie solution unique?

The unique combination of hospitality experience and technology helps hoteliers to enhance their business with confidence.

What is something that hotel owners have to deal with that you want to fix?

As an independent hotelier, it is difficult to stay competitive in the market. Large hotel groups have resources for in-house Revenue Managers that are taking care of maximizing revenue as a full-time job. We are helping hotel owners to get the most out of their business and the market share.

What’s the coolest thing you are working on right now?

The coolest thing for me is that I can see the success and revenue growth together with the hoteliers when we review the performance.

What is your favorite and least favorite thing about working in hospitality technology?

My favorite is that I am able to help so many different businesses. From Hotels, Bed & Breakfasts, Guesthouses, Hostels, Apartments and even Luxury Tents all over the world. I love to share my experience as Revenue Manager and see the business grow.

My least favorite part is that the potential of a digitalised business is sometimes underestimated by hoteliers and the fear of change.
