With over 18 years of hospitality experience, John has spent the last 8 years working in Revenue Management in 3, 4 and 5 Star hotels in Dublin and London.
I joined RoomPriceGenie in August 2020, as Sales and Customer Service Manager, my role also involves helping with Revenue Management and Implementation.
I studied Hotel and Catering Management with Business Studies at GMIT in conjunction with JurysDoyle Hotel Group as a Trainee Manager, I have worked for over 18 years in Hospitality from Hostels, Hotels and Serviced Apartments working mostly in Front Office Management Reception, Reservations and Revenue.
Focusing on small hotels is not what most companies do but with RoomPriceGenie specialises in helping small hotels and hoteliers who do not have a background in revenue.
Saving them time and helping to increase their revenue in one simple system. Also educating them more on the joy of relaxed revenue management.
Speaking with customers from all over the world and learning new things about their properties and counties.
One of my favourite things is meeting new people and getting to show them amazing technology that helps them improve their business. Seen how excited they get when they see the time and money they can save.
The least favourite thing is the resistance because they are too comfortable with their current set up. A lot of hoteliers are scared of changing as they have worked well in the same way for a long time.
Strong leaders who lead from the front. At the moment Jacinda Ardern the New Zealand Prime Minister as she is a natural leader.
