What is your role at RoomPriceGenie?

I joined RoomPriceGenie in August 2020, as Sales and Customer Service Manager, my role also involves helping with Revenue Management and Implementation.

What is your background?

I studied Hotel and Catering Management with Business Studies at GMIT in conjunction with JurysDoyle Hotel Group as a Trainee Manager, I have worked for over 18 years in Hospitality from Hostels, Hotels and Serviced Apartments working mostly in Front Office Management Reception, Reservations and Revenue.

What do you think makes the RoomPriceGenie solution unique?

Focusing on small hotels is not what most companies do but with RoomPriceGenie specialises in helping small hotels and hoteliers who do not have a background in revenue.

What is something that hotel owners have to deal with that you want to fix?

Saving them time and helping to increase their revenue in one simple system. Also educating them more on the joy of relaxed revenue management.

What is your favorite thing about working in hospitality technology?

One of my favourite things is meeting new people and getting to show them amazing technology that helps them improve their business. Seen how excited they get when they see the time and money they can save. The least favourite thing is the resistance because they are too comfortable with their current set up. A lot of hoteliers are scared of changing as they have worked well in the same way for a long time.
