In our Meet the Genies series, we give you the opportunity to get to know the friendly faces that make RoomPriceGenie more than just an algorithm. Today, we introduce Fani! And yes, the name speaks for itself – her positive attitude is something every team would be lucky to have. Fani decided to move to Mannheim for her new chapter in life and we’re more than happy to have her here!
Let’s get to know her a little more…
My role is in Business Development, and I have been with RoomPriceGenie since September 1st, 2021.
I have a focused on the traditional hospitality so far by working in operations in Four Seasons Prague and the Ritz London. With a more specialized Master’s in Hospitality Strategy and Digital Transformation I was able to make a swift in my career and start working for a SAAS company.
How easy it is to use. It doesn’t matter what your experience in revenue is, with RoomPriceGenie one can compete in the industry with the use of dynamic pricing.
Often hoteliers are overwhelmed with administrative tasks that have no time to focus on guest service. By automating the pricing process, we create for our guests the time they were missing.
I am working on potential partnerships with educational institutions for future collaborations (e.g., internships) but also to offer access to our RoomPriceGenie Academy. This way we take an active role in the education of future hoteliers.
My favorite thing is that by nature working in hospitality technology one is forced to stay up to date with the industry trends and create disruption in the industry, which I find thrilling. My least favorite is that a lot of people still do not see the value from it and think of it as replacing jobs, whereas it creates additional time to focus on the important things.
Discipline, determination, and humility.
Social butterfly, loyal, goofy.
As cliché as it may sound, everything happens for a reason.
Because as a small kid I used to go around the neighborhood with a little backpack saying to my parents that I am going to find my future and my destiny…funnily enough I was the only child among my siblings that I went abroad to study and work.
