What is your role at RoomPriceGenie and how long have you been with us?
My journey with RoomPriceGenie started as a client and I got to know the team & app as a partner well before my official introduction to the team in September 2020.
What is your background in?
Hospitality, getting the right people together, and enabling businesses to grow.
What do you think makes the RoomPriceGenie solution unique?
It’s an absolute no-brainer, which makes it unique compared to tools requiring a deep analysis. RoomPriceGenie is set-up in no time and it works and produces results (money) immediately. At a high ROI. It’s the perfect gateway to pricing and everyone should at least give it a try and then move on to something more complex, if necessary.
What is something that hotel owners have to deal with that you want to fix?
The lack of focus on making money. And the lack of treating their accommodation as a wealth generator. Making revenue is the beating heart of anyone’s business. And your heart needs perfect care rather than being ‘just another element’ of your daily life.
What’s the coolest thing you are working on right now?
What is your favourite and least favourite thing about working in hospitality technology?
The wonderful thing about (hospitality) technology is that it can change lives literally within a day. Most accommodation owners, like everyone else, are reluctant to change though. Making the transformation of their business challenging at times.
